Eric Johnson
A veteran of the Los Angeles advertising wars, Eric Johnson left the world of storyboards and copywriting behind in 1998 to co-found the magazine Racer X Illustrated. Two years later, keen to transfer his passion for MotoGP and roadracing to the printed page, he co-founded the magazine Road Racer X. Ultimately, Johnson segued into the four-wheel world, working in the Special Projects division of Haymarket UK. Now a freelance contributor to moto racing websites and magazines around the world, Johnson also performs special project duties for Alpinestars and Monster Energy while maintaining the role of Senior Contributor with Racer X.
